Ok, after you’re done drooling over these beautiful concrete lamps by Foscarini, called the Aplomb Lamp, let’s discuss it a bit, shall we? The challenge with these lamps was using concrete, a material normally used on a large scale and sort of inflexible, and molding it into the delicate shape of these pendants. To achieve this, they used a more fluid type of concrete that would allow such work, resulting in an elegant yet edgy design.
